Artificial Intelligence Applications for the Law Enforcement, Counterterrorism, Intel and OSINT Community

AI technology is rapidly improving and is now capable of processing incomprehensible volumes of data to “connect the dots” that humans are either not able to connect, or at least not without enormous resources and time.

This webinar is for investigators and analysts who want to (or need to) understand how to leverage advances in AI systems to improve the speed and accuracy of their investigations.

The presenters will focus on AI tools designed to analyze video, web content, case data and unstructured OSINT information. For each topic, the presenters will briefly discuss the relevant AI technology and then use case studies to illustrate how the tools can be used in practice to analyze video/image feeds (e.g., web, surveillance, body camera or photos), social media and text, as well as show how to extract relevant forensic artifacts from data sets, predict / cluster outcomes, determine intent and/or correlate related data across domains.

Specific topics covered include:

  • Automated image processing to identify persons, objects, landmarks as well as decoding embedded text/digital artifacts;
  • Corelating image / web data with social media feeds;
  • Using behavior analytics to identify suspicious activity from video feeds;
  • Real time image processing to identify missing persons, suspects, unusual activity;
  • Extract intentions from open source, social media and text feeds;
  • Classifying suspicious social media profiles;
  • Case study examples.
